Guided by the expertise of Adam Bradshaw, Whisky Curator for Fathom and The Strath Liquor Merchants, Spirit of the Deep reflects a journey of collaboration and creativity. Each pour carries forward the tradition of thoughtful whisky-making, offering a memorable experience for enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

Nestled in Victoria, BC, Driftwood Brewery is a trailblazer of the province’s craft beer scene. Since their founding in 2008, they’ve pushed the boundaries of flavour. Famous locally for their popular craft IPA, Fat Tug.
Building on their reputation for innovation, Driftwood has since expanded into craft spirits, applying the same passion for quality and creativity to whisky, gin, and other small-batch releases. Today, they’re known not only for shaping BC’s beer culture but also for bringing that same adventurous spirit into the world of distilling.
Adam Bradshaw
Whisky Curator
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Adam Bradshaw has worked in a variety of whisky-centric roles, including as a bartender in Edinburgh and in single malt distillation in Melbourne. He is currently the whisky curator at The Strath Liquor Merchants here in Victoria, where he is also the founder of The Dram Association and the local ambassador for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Bradshaw is known for his deep knowledge and passion for whisky, as well as his finely tuned palate and often eccentric tasting notes. He has a keen sense of quality, and his cask picks have won a multitude of awards. He is highly active in the Canadian whisky community and is a sought-after speaker and educator for festivals and private events.
